Seeing is Believing!

These examples give you the chance to see how JeeWiz! converts UML models, or XML specifications, into working systems for .NET or various J2EE application servers. These applications are here to show various techniques that have been used by the JeeWiz! team in building sample applications. They do not all necessarily conform to "best J2EE practice" but are deliberately structured to show the JeeWiz! techniques concerned. In these cases, we make use of Rational Rose models.

Simple The simplest model (one class, one attribute) transformed into a three-tier application.
Ordering A slightly more complex application.
Hospital Originally the demonstration of a system to enter hospital survey information, this system was enlarged with several pages showing basic JeeWiz! techniques, including page navigation, wizard-pages and three-tier coordination. The complete system has less than 100 lines of specialized code. The rest of the system is built from the model.
Restaurant The Restaurant sample application shows the use of a different set of maintenance screens, which are designed to handle higher volumes.
Football The Football application uses similar styles to Restaurant, tabbed pages, lookups etc, but it's worth look at the way page pre-population is handled. The best example is for the Show Table event (in the View Table diagram).
Issues This is probably the closest of the sample applications to a real system. In fact we use a modified version of this system internally within NT/e to keep track of bugs, enhancement requests and ideas.
Your Own Send us your own model or even a requirement specification and we will convert it.
